- Hello folks, I'm Bob Welsh and I currently play guitar with Elvin Bishop - and I really dig it! I'm from Louisiana, but California is my home now & I'm staying. Some of the cats I've had the pleasure to play with are: John Nemeth, Rusty Zinn, Roy Gaines, Jackie Payne, Mark Hummel, Kim Wilson, James Cotton, Snooky Pryor, James Harman, Billy Boy Arnold, Charlie Musselwhite, and a whole bunch of other talented musicians. I live in the Bay Area and help operate Greaseland Studios, along with Kid Andersen & Hans Bosse.
